Set Promo Code Limits, Control Access, and Offer Discounts in Core Registrationd Post

Give your promo codes more structure and control in Core Registration—limit how many times a code can be used, define when it’s active, and restrict access to specific attendees or People Groups.

What’s New

  • Limit promo code usage with Quantity: Set a max number of times a promo code can be applied—or leave it blank for unlimited use.
  • Set an active promo period (start/end date + time): Ensure codes only work during your promotional window.
  • Restrict promo codes to Individuals or People Groups: Use eligibility settings so only the right people can apply a code (and ensure your registration site is set to Private or Require Email as First Step).
  • Use promo codes for discounts or hidden ticket access: Configure codes to apply a flat or percentage discount (full order or specific tickets) and/or reveal hidden tickets.

Add to Calendar Widget — Make It Easy for Attendees to Save Your Event

Help attendees save your event details with a single click using the new Add to Calendar widget. Easily insert this button into email campaigns, your registration website, or confirmation emails so your audience never misses a moment.

What’s New

  • One-click calendar save: Attendees can add your event directly to their personal calendar from emails or the registration site.
  • Flexible placement across touchpoints: Add the widget to email campaigns, your Core Registration website, and registration confirmation emails for maximum visibility.
  • Customizable event details: Set a calendar title, start/end times, location, and an optional description for a richer calendar entry.
  • Boost engagement: Strategic placement of the button — like above calls-to-action or near session info — encourages more attendees to save and remember your event.

Apply Custom Registration Statuses to Categories

Assign specific registration statuses to different ticket categories. For example, VIP tickets can automatically receive a “Complete” status upon purchase, while standard tickets can be marked as “Pending Approval” for further review before confirmation.

A new dropdown in each category now shows all of your registration statuses, making it incredibly easy to assign the appropriate status to each category. Attendees who update their category using their modification link, will automatically have their registration status adjusted to reflect this change.
