Session UI Update: Smoother Browsing & Better Discovery

We’re excited to roll out an improved Sessions experience designed to make exploring event content easier, faster, and more intuitive for attendees.

Scroll Through All Sessions — No Filters Required

Attendees can now seamlessly scroll through all sessions without switching between date filters. Instead of toggling from day to day, they can browse the full lineup in one continuous view — making it easier to explore and compare sessions across the entire event.

To make the experience even smoother, scroll position now persists when navigating back from a session details page to the sessions list. That means attendees can dive into a session, review the details, and return to exactly where they left off — no more starting over.

Global Session Search Across Multiple Dates

We’ve also introduced global session search across multiple dates. With a single search, attendees can instantly see relevant sessions from throughout the event schedule.

This improvement makes it faster and more efficient to find specific topics, speakers, or session titles — no matter when they’re happening.

These updates create a more modern and intuitive browsing experience that encourages exploration and improves session discoverability. By reducing friction and eliminating unnecessary steps, attendees can focus on what matters most: finding and attending the sessions that deliver the most value to them.

We’re continuously enhancing the attendee experience — and this update is another step toward making event navigation effortless and engaging.

Prevent Overlapping Sessions with Session Conflict Management

Keep attendee schedules conflict-free and session attendance under control with Session Conflict Management in Experience Manager. Now you can set session capacities and block attendees from adding overlapping sessions to their personal agendas — helping deliver a smoother attendee experience.

What’s New

  • Set session capacities: Define how many attendees can register for each session to manage room limits and avoid overbooking.
  • Block overlapping session sign-ups: Prevent attendees from adding sessions that occur at the same time to their agenda.
  • Bulk update capacities and overlap settings: Update multiple sessions at once using the bulk management tools in your Sessions library.
  • Enforce session sign-up at check-in: Only attendees who registered for a session can check in onsite when this new setting is enabled.

Set Promo Code Limits, Control Access, and Offer Discounts in Core Registrationd Post

Give your promo codes more structure and control in Core Registration—limit how many times a code can be used, define when it’s active, and restrict access to specific attendees or People Groups.

What’s New

  • Limit promo code usage with Quantity: Set a max number of times a promo code can be applied—or leave it blank for unlimited use.
  • Set an active promo period (start/end date + time): Ensure codes only work during your promotional window.
  • Restrict promo codes to Individuals or People Groups: Use eligibility settings so only the right people can apply a code (and ensure your registration site is set to Private or Require Email as First Step).
  • Use promo codes for discounts or hidden ticket access: Configure codes to apply a flat or percentage discount (full order or specific tickets) and/or reveal hidden tickets.

Control Visibility and Attendance with Session Access Control & Session Capacities

Session Access Control lets you decide exactly who can view and access specific sessions in the Event App. Sessions that are restricted will not appear in the Agenda or be accessible through Speaker profiles for attendees who don’t have permission.

Session Capacities allow you to set attendance limits for sessions with limited space. Once a session reaches its capacity, attendees will no longer be able to sign up, helping you prevent overbooking and keep session numbers organized.
